Dominion Triangle is the fastest-growing neighbourhood in Port Coquitlam — a 2010s–2020s master-planned development on formerly industrial land at the city's northeastern edge, bounded roughly by Lougheed Highway, Dominion Avenue, and the Pitt River. Freemont Street is the main residential spine, and the area has been progressively filled with townhouse complexes, mid-rise apartments, and increasingly taller condo towers. The commercial strip along Lougheed Highway inside the Triangle includes a Walmart, a Real Canadian Superstore, a Canadian Tire, Home Depot, and a major concentration of Persian and Middle Eastern restaurants and grocers serving the Tri-Cities Iranian-Canadian community.

The Persian retail and dining concentration is one of Dominion Triangle's distinctive features. Dewdney Trunk Road through the area has a handful of the best-regarded Iranian restaurants in Metro Vancouver, Persian bakeries, and specialty groceries that serve the broader Coquitlam–Port Moody–Port Coquitlam Iranian community. For newcomer families from Iran specifically, Dominion Triangle has the densest cultural community and retail presence in Port Coquitlam.

Rentals in the 2010s–2020s townhouses run $2,500–3,300 for two- or three-bedroom units; mid-rise apartments are $1,800–2,400 for one- and two-bedroom units. The neighbourhood is noticeably denser than the rest of PoCo but also noticeably newer, which appeals specifically to families wanting townhouses over houses and willing to trade character for modern construction. Transit is limited: the 159 bus connects to Coquitlam Central SkyTrain, but the ride is 20+ minutes, and there's no dedicated rapid transit to Dominion Triangle.
